April 2026 Anime Release Schedule: Dates, Studios, and Where to Watch

Intro:

     We all have seen multiple memes regarding April being the biggest break in Anime History. Let's see if the exposure holds up.

As everybody knows, the giants of the anime world—MAPPA and WHITE FOX—are returning to our screens. With a huge comeback for Dr. Stone fans, the arrival of the high-stakes Witch Hat Atelier, and the long-awaited return of Subaru (Re: Zero) and the Straw Hats (One Piece), this month is really illustrious and yummy for the fans.

So here's my guide for April. Let's get into it. ❤️‍🔥

Anime coming in April

1. April 1

1. Dorohedoro (Season 2) by MAPPA Production.                                                                      Vibe: More disorder. More gore.  I'm ready to be traumatized again.
2. The Beginning After the End (Season 2) by A-CAT Production.                                                  Vibe: Arthur's back.  All I'll say is that. If you haven't already, go read it.
3. Classroom of the Elite (Season 4) by Lerche Production.                                                       Vibe: Lerche.  Still awaiting Ayanokoji's expression of emotion. Any day now.  Any day.    
4. Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon (Season 3) by Gokumi Production.   Vibe: The title is absurd, yes. I will watch it, yes. Don't judge me.

2. April 2

1. Dr. Stone: Science Future (Part 3) by TMS Entertainment Production.                                         Vibe: The last run. I'm not fine. Senku, take us home.
2. The Ramparts of Ice — TBA ( To be Announced ).                                                                      Vibe: The Ice Ramparts. Anime with mystery? Feelings of ice? I'm curious.                                                  

3. April 3

1. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Season 4) by 8bit Production.                                        Vibe: Rimuru is back.  The hype is real.  My heart is ready. .   
2. Snowball Earth by KAI Production.                                                                                                      Vibe: Is there any new science fiction? Post-apocalyptic?  Sign me up                                                                                

4. April 4

1. Daemons of the Shadow Realm by Bones Production.                                                                        Vibe: Arakawa's new dark fantasy.  If you loved Fullmetal Alchemist, you already know you're watching this.
2. Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun (Season 4) by Bandai Namco Pictures Production.      Vibe: Namco.  Chaos.  Comedy.  Iruma.  Yes.  I've been missing this vitality. 
3. Ascendance of a Bookworm (New Arc) by WIT Studio.                                                            Vibe: Myne is back.  I'm crying already.  The book gremlin owns my soul.                                                            

5. April 5–7

1. One Piece (Elbaph Arc) by Toei Animation.The land of giants.                                                 Vibe: We've been waiting for this lore drop. Oda, don't hurt us.
2. Witch Hat Atelier by BUG FILMS.                                                                                                   Vibe: Magic.  Art.  Mystery.  I'm enamored. I'm afraid the anime will break me because the manga is beautiful.
3. Liar Game by Madhouse.                                                                                                            Vibe: Psychological warfare.  My brain is ready.  Not with my anxiety.
4. Marriagetoxin by Bones.                                                                                                                    Vibe: Romance + assassins?  I'm interested. This one appeared without warning

6. April 8–12

1. Re:ZERO - Starting Life in Another World (Season 4) by White Fox                                         Vibe: Subaru once again suffers. So do we.  The cycle continues.
2. Kill Blue — TBA                                                                                                                                Vibe: Action?  Comedy?  Assassin dad?  I'll discover.
3. Wistoria: Wand and Sword (Season 2) by Actas / Bandai Namco Pictures                                Vibe: More magic, more fights, more tension.  Let's go now.   
4. Mission: Yozakura Family (Season 2) — TBA                                                                               Vibe: The spy family is still in chaos. If you're missing Spy x Family, this will fill the void.
